IHG DFC turns pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This is a bit late but I still like to post this. This will be a very short post.

To show the support for Breast Cancer Awareness month both the Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental  Hotel have had the external environmental friendly LED lights turned to pink. This action supports our drive for Responsible Business and has already been recognized in 7 Days Newspaper (see below). Both Hotels will remain pink until the evening of Saturday the 8th (though they still have the pink lights on).

picture really looks crappy since I only copied this on the email sent to us

Aside from the hotel being pink, breast cancer awareness sessions were also held. It was really informative, as the speaker is a gyno from Prime Medical who really explains well all the details. Not the usual boring seminars were you end sleeping in the couch.

After the seminar, we went to the clinic so the nurses can check our blood sugar level. and blood pressure. Am happy to know that mine was still normal, and blood pressure still on the right track.

With a pink ribbon pinned in my jacket, I can say that I am now aware. Remember, awareness is the first step of cure.
